x402 APIPassing, checked 26 min ago

Split an amount into parts using integer minor-unit math so the shares always sum back to the exact original — no rounding drift. Pass parts for an even split, or ratios for a weighted one (e.g. [1,1,1] splits $100 into 33.34/33.33/33.33). The leftover minor units go to the largest fractional remainders.

Call it from code

The curl command shows the payment challenge. The JavaScript and Python versions pay and call, and never pay more than $0.002.

curl: see the payment challenge
# bash or zsh: see the payment challenge. Nothing is charged.
curl -sS -g -i -X POST 'https://money.openverbs.com/v1/allocate' \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' \
  --data-raw '{"amount":1,"parts":1,"ratios":[1]}'

# x402 v2 sends the challenge base64-encoded in the PAYMENT-REQUIRED header (v1 sends it in the body).
# To read the header:
curl -sS -g -o /dev/null -D - -X POST 'https://money.openverbs.com/v1/allocate' \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' \
  --data-raw '{"amount":1,"parts":1,"ratios":[1]}' \
