Bazaar Cheapest

by datastand.dev in Search & web

x402 APIPassing, checked 2 h ago

Cost-optimised endpoint selection: name a capability (web search, token safety, enrichment) and get the x402 endpoints that provide it ranked cheapest-first in USDC per call, with adoption stats. Refreshed daily from the Bazaar discovery index. The corpus is the most-used slice of the Bazaar, so read `price_floor_complete` and `corpus.cutoff` for whether the price floor you get is the Bazaar's or only ours — both are free on the catalog listing.

How to call it

GET https://datastand.dev/api/bazaar/cheapest

Each call costs $0.005 in USDC on Base, paid with the request over x402.

Run a free test callOne unpaid request, the way an agent sends it. You see the payment challenge it gets back. Nothing is charged.

Example request

From the listing.

GET https://datastand.dev/api/bazaar/cheapest?capability=web+search&limit=20&min_payers=1&offset=0

Parameters

ParameterTypeRequiredDescription
capabilitystringYesWhat the endpoint must do, e.g. 'web search'
limitstringNoRows per page, 1-100 (default 20)
min_payersstringNoMinimum unique 30-day payers (default 1). Cannot go below corpus.cutoff.payers_30d — the index holds no rows under it, so a lower value is reported back raised in filters.min_payers_effective. Strictly above the cutoff gives price_floor_complete: true.
offsetstringNoSkip this many ranked candidates (default 0). Use page.next_offset from the previous response. A page past the end costs nothing.

Example response

The provider's example. We can't check it without paying.

Call it from code

The curl command shows the payment challenge. The JavaScript and Python versions pay and call, and never pay more than $0.005.

curl: see the payment challenge
# bash or zsh: see the payment challenge. Nothing is charged.
