Calc Cryoprecipitate
by magent in Other
Cryoprecipitate bag estimate from the AABB Technical Manual calculation as reprinted in Nascimento 2011: 70 mL/kg blood volume, 250 mg fibrinogen per bag, bags = ceil(mg_fibrinogen / 250). Deterministic published arithmetic with citation. Not a transfusion order or major-haemorrhage protocol. The paper notes 100% recovery is likely false and fibrinogen per bag varies. magent does not choose a product or ABO group.

GET https://api.magentlab.com/api/calc/cryoprecipitate?current_fibrinogen_mg_dl=100&desired_fibrinogen_mg_dl=200&hematocrit_percent=40&weight_kg=70Parameters
| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
current_fibrinogen_mg_dl | number | Yes | Current fibrinogen in mg/dL (0-400). Required. |
desired_fibrinogen_mg_dl | number | Yes | Desired fibrinogen in mg/dL (50-400). Must be strictly greater than current_fibrinogen_mg_dl. |
