Credits Buy

by Market Intelligence API in Markets & finance

x402 APIPassing, checked 27 min ago

Prepaid API credits and API key for clients that cannot sign an x402 payment per call (most MCP clients): one payment buys credit ($5, $20 = $22 credit, $50 = $60) and returns an API key. Send it as X-API-Key on any paid route or MCP tool; each call costs its x402 price and failed calls are refunded. With your key in X-API-Key it tops that key up.

Call it from code

The curl command shows the payment challenge. The JavaScript and Python versions pay and call, and never pay more than $5.

curl: see the payment challenge
# bash or zsh: see the payment challenge. Nothing is charged.
curl -sS -g -i -X POST 'https://api.marketintelligenceapi.com/api/v1/credits/buy/:usd' \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' \
  --data-raw '{}'

# x402 v2 sends the challenge base64-encoded in the PAYMENT-REQUIRED header (v1 sends it in the body).
# To read the header:
curl -sS -g -o /dev/null -D - -X POST 'https://api.marketintelligenceapi.com/api/v1/credits/buy/:usd' \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' \
  --data-raw '{}' \
