Domain Grade

by OrionCMD Checks in Developer tools

x402 APIPassing, checked 3 h ago

OrionCMD Checks: Domain security grade A-F with a per-category breakdown. Runs the cert, DNS, expiry, email-auth and security-header checks and scores them: TLS 25, email auth 25, HTTP headers 20, DNS (resolves, DNSSEC, CAA) 15, registration expiry 15. Returns one A-F letter, a 0-100 score, each category's points and notes, and the top fixes. Unlike /v1/site-health (raw cert/DNS/expiry data, no grade), this is a graded scorecard that also covers email auth and headers.

Call it from code

The curl command shows the payment challenge. The JavaScript and Python versions pay and call, and never pay more than $0.03.

curl: see the payment challenge
# bash or zsh: see the payment challenge. Nothing is charged.
curl -sS -g -i 'https://api.orioncmd.com/v1/domain-grade?domain=example.com'

# x402 v2 sends the challenge base64-encoded in the PAYMENT-REQUIRED header (v1 sends it in the body).
# To read the header:
curl -sS -g -o /dev/null -D - 'https://api.orioncmd.com/v1/domain-grade?domain=example.com' \
  | grep -i '^payment-required:' | cut -d' ' -f2 | tr -d '\r' | base64 --decode
