x402 APIPassing, checked 4 h ago

Retrieve the readable text of up to 10 web pages by URL, with optional query-focused highlights. Pages are served from a crawl cache when the page is fresh enough and live-crawls otherwise, so this answers for pages a plain fetch would be blocked from. Returns per-URL status so a page that could not be read is named rather than silently missing.

Call it from code

The curl command shows the payment challenge. The JavaScript and Python versions pay and call, and never pay more than $0.02.

curl: see the payment challenge
# bash or zsh: see the payment challenge. Nothing is charged.
curl -sS -g -i -X POST 'https://agent402.tools/api/exa-contents' \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' \

# x402 v2 sends the challenge base64-encoded in the PAYMENT-REQUIRED header (v1 sends it in the body).
# To read the header:
curl -sS -g -o /dev/null -D - -X POST 'https://agent402.tools/api/exa-contents' \
