Geo Convert

by Sift Web Tools in Documents & files

x402 APIPassing, checked 3 h ago

Convert and reproject map files (GeoJSON, shapefile, CSV, GPX, KML). Spatial file in, spatial file out: reads GeoJSON, zipped shapefile, CSV, GPX or KML and writes GeoJSON, CSV, WKT or zipped shapefile in any EPSG/PROJ/WKT system. Always longitude/easting first, reports the transformation and its accuracy in metres, and refuses data outside the target's area of use (spotting swapped lat/lon).

Call it from code

The curl command shows the payment challenge. The JavaScript and Python versions pay and call, and never pay more than $0.02.

curl: see the payment challenge
# bash or zsh: see the payment challenge. Nothing is charged.
curl -sS -g -i 'https://sift.srv1996466.hstgr.cloud/v1/geo/convert?target_crs=EPSG%3A3857&to=geojson&url=https%3A%2F%2Fsift.srv1996466.hstgr.cloud%2Fsamples%2Fpoints.geojson'

# x402 v2 sends the challenge base64-encoded in the PAYMENT-REQUIRED header (v1 sends it in the body).
# To read the header:
curl -sS -g -o /dev/null -D - 'https://sift.srv1996466.hstgr.cloud/v1/geo/convert?target_crs=EPSG%3A3857&to=geojson&url=https%3A%2F%2Fsift.srv1996466.hstgr.cloud%2Fsamples%2Fpoints.geojson' \
