9 tools

• search_anime

Search the MyAnimeTracker anime catalog by title. Returns matching releases (TV seasons, films, OVAs, specials) with their catalog ID, format, year, episode count and page links. Safe-for-work titles only.

• get_watch_order

Get the release-order watch guide for an anime franchise: every season, film and special in the order they came out, where a new viewer can start, and how much filler each part has when that is known. This is release order, not story chronology. Give a title or a catalog ID.

• get_filler_guide

List filler and recap episodes to skip, mixed episodes to keep, and separate novel adaptations. Novel adaptation: Adapted from an official novel, not the manga. Optional for manga-canon viewers, but not anime-original filler. Covers a small reviewed set of series and says so…

• whats_airing

List anime episodes airing over the next few days, by Japan broadcast date, from the MyAnimeTracker calendar, with broadcast times. Set mine to true for when the person's own shows air next. Safe-for-work titles only. Episode numbers and dates only.

• popular_anime

List the anime that the most MyAnimeTracker members added to their lists over the last week (or month, when a week is quiet), with how many people added each. Counts only, never who. Safe-for-work titles only.

• my_library

List the signed-in person's MyAnimeTracker list: each title with its status (Watching, Completed, Plan to Watch, On Hold, Dropped), score and how many episodes they have watched. Safe-for-work titles only, most recently updated first. For when their shows air next, use…

• add_to_list

Add an anime series to the signed-in person's MyAnimeTracker list with a status. A series is tracked as one thing: all its seasons and films. If any part of it is already on the list, nothing changes. Give a title or a catalog ID.

• mark_episodes_watched

Mark episodes of one anime season or film as watched on the signed-in person's MyAnimeTracker list, from episode 1 through the number given. It never unmarks an episode. Episode numbers count within that one entry (season 2 starts again at 1); a film is through_episode 1. Give a…

• friends_watching

List what the people the signed-in person follows on MyAnimeTracker have been watching or finished over the last 30 days, by their @username, newest first. Only people whose list the person is allowed to see, and safe-for-work titles only.
