Nft Metadata

by NFT metadata in Onchain & crypto

x402 APIPassing, checked 42 min ago

Resolve one NFT (contract + tokenId) into normalized metadata: name, description, image, attributes and token standard (ERC-721 or ERC-1155). Reads the on-chain tokenURI/uri, then fetches and normalizes the metadata document (ipfs/ar/http/data), rewriting ipfs image links to a gateway URL. Returns `found:false` for non-NFT contracts. Live reads with automatic endpoint fallback.

Call it from code

The curl command shows the payment challenge. The JavaScript and Python versions pay and call, and never pay more than $0.006.

curl: see the payment challenge
# bash or zsh: see the payment challenge. Nothing is charged.
curl -sS -g -i -X POST 'https://chain.openverbs.com/v1/nft-metadata' \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' \
  --data-raw '{"chain":"ethereum","contract":"0xb47e3cd837dDF8e4c57F05d70Ab865de6e193BBB","tokenId":"1"}'

# x402 v2 sends the challenge base64-encoded in the PAYMENT-REQUIRED header (v1 sends it in the body).
# To read the header:
curl -sS -g -o /dev/null -D - -X POST 'https://chain.openverbs.com/v1/nft-metadata' \
