Red Ip

by IP address intelligence in Weather & location

x402 APIPassing, checked 2 h ago

Looks up one IPv4 or IPv6 address against the two authoritative, keyless public sources: RDAP registry data (who holds the block, in which country, since when, abuse contact) via the ARIN-to-RIR referral chain, and the origin ASN from Team Cymru's DNS service. No city-level geolocation and no VPN/proxy detection — those need a licensed commercial database this endpoint deliberately does not use. Built for going through a list of IPs one at a time.

Call it from code

The curl command shows the payment challenge. The JavaScript and Python versions pay and call, and never pay more than $0.005.

curl: see the payment challenge
# bash or zsh: see the payment challenge. Nothing is charged.
curl -sS -g -i 'https://flat-rate-llm.kikoribera03.workers.dev/v1/red/ip?ip=8.8.8.8'

# x402 v2 sends the challenge base64-encoded in the PAYMENT-REQUIRED header (v1 sends it in the body).
# To read the header:
curl -sS -g -o /dev/null -D - 'https://flat-rate-llm.kikoribera03.workers.dev/v1/red/ip?ip=8.8.8.8' \
  | grep -i '^payment-required:' | cut -d' ' -f2 | tr -d '\r' | base64 --decode
