• business_electricity_prices

  Latest quarterly price per kWh paid by UK businesses for electricity, by annual-use size band, including and excluding the Climate Change Levy, from DESNZ QEP tables 3.4.1 and 3.4.2. Statistics, not a quote.

• commercial_solar_cost

  Average cost per kW for 10-50 kW solar (DESNZ, from MCS records), yearly generation at a reference city (PVGIS) and simple payback at the DESNZ small-business electricity price, for a Great Britain region.

• charging_cost

  Cost of one charge, per mile and per 100 miles at the UK home price cap rate and average public and rapid pay-as-you-go prices (dated sources), plus an optional own price.

• area_charging_facts

  Public and rapid EV chargers, chargers per 100,000 people, UK rank and plug-in vehicles for a UK council area, from Department for Transport data (EVCI0102, VEH0142).

• charging_time

  How long an electric car takes to charge between two battery levels at a given charger power, with energy and approximate miles added.

• charger_size

  Suggests the slowest standard charger that adds the wanted miles within a typical stay, and the total load if every bay charges at once.

• host_income_estimate

  Compares upfront cost, yearly income and payback for fully funded, part funded and self funded chargers. Any input left out uses the example figures from the site's calculator; state the assumptions to the user.

• grant_check

  Checks the Workplace Charging Scheme grant and the 100% first-year allowance for EV chargepoints, with official sources and checked dates.

• submit_enquiry

  Sends the user's site details to UK Charging Solutions, which may pass them to an installer partner that may pay a referral fee. Only call this when the user asked to be contacted and agreed to share these details. Returns ok true when sent.
